I am a born-and-bred Yorkshire girl who moved to Canterbury in 2022 to study Computer Science with a Year in Industry at the University of Kent. I graduated in July 2026 with a First Class Honours Degree.

After four busy years at university, I decided to move back home to Yorkshire to take some time to work and focus on projects I love, and spend time with my family.

I have been fascinated by theme park design and rides since I first went to Walt Disney World at the age of 4. I decided to work on animatronics after seeing videos of the Spiderman ‘stuntronic’ in 2021.

In my final year at university, I took a Cognitive Robotics module where we programmed robots to navigate a maze and learned theory, including Human-Robot Interaction. I also took a module on the Internet of Things, in which I learned how to create devices using microcontrollers.
